Terms of Use

These terms apply to access to and use of the content, download links, configuration guides, and technical materials on v2raydev.com.

Last updated: August 2026

By accessing or continuing to use this site, visitors confirm that they have read and understood these terms. This site compiles download information, configuration steps, and troubleshooting resources for v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, and the V2Fly and Xray kernel families for software learning and technical reference. Visitors who disagree with any of these conditions must stop using the relevant pages and materials.

1. Purpose and Scope

The client overviews, installation steps, subscription import instructions, routing-rule examples, DNS configuration notes, and related articles on this site are primarily intended to help visitors understand common operations in open-source clients. The page content is not legal, network-service, information-security, or business advice, and does not represent a formal commitment by any software project's maintainers.

Different client versions, operating systems, kernel implementations, and server configurations may produce different results. Visitors should review the license text, release notes, and configuration documentation provided with each software project, and back up their current configuration before changing subscriptions, routing, DNS, or system network settings. This site may revise, relocate, or remove content that is no longer applicable as software versions change.

2. Access and Lawful Use

Visitors must comply with applicable laws, regulations, network-service rules, and organizational policies in their location, and independently confirm that their downloads, installations, configurations, and connections have a lawful basis. Site content must not be used to infringe others' legal rights, access systems without authorization, disrupt network services, distribute unlawful information, or engage in any other conduct prohibited by applicable law.

Visitors must not affect the site's normal operation through automated requests, unusually frequent access, malicious probing, or other means, nor bypass access controls or technical restrictions on its pages. Visitors are responsible for identifying and addressing restrictions caused by their own actions, device-management policies, network environment, or third-party service terms.

3. Third-Party Software and External Services

v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, V2Fly, and Xray are provided by their respective open-source projects and maintainers. This site compiles related public information and does not participate in the development, release decisions, version maintenance, or service operation of these software projects. Client names, features, interfaces, dependencies, and release schedules may change at the maintainers' discretion, so the site's pages may not always match the current versions.

Download links, subscription services, network routes, and other external resources are provided by their respective operators. Service relationships formed between visitors and third parties are governed by the third parties' terms. If a third-party resource changes, becomes unavailable, is removed, changes format, or is subject to access restrictions, this site is not obligated to continue providing it.

4. Liability and Assumption of Risk

This site prepares content from publicly available information and makes reasonable efforts to keep its steps and terminology clear, but does not guarantee continued availability for a particular version, configuration results, connection quality, compatibility, or content timeliness. Visitors must decide whether the information suits their current device, system version, and use case, and assume the risks arising from related operations.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for configuration loss, data damage, business interruption, device problems, or any other direct or indirect loss arising from the use of or inability to use this site's content, client software, download links, or third-party services. If a page differs from the software's current behavior, the actual software version and its project documentation take precedence.

5. Intellectual Property and Updates

The original written arrangement, page structure, and visual content on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property rules. Without permission, visitors may not bulk-copy the site's content, publish a mirror, or misrepresent the site's source. When reasonably quoting a single passage, preserve its meaning and credit the source page. Rights to software names, marks, source code, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners; copying, modifying, and distributing them must comply with the applicable open-source license or rights statement.

This site may update these terms because of legal requirements, feature changes, changes to the scope of its content, or operational needs. Revisions will be published on this page, and the month shown in the Last updated notice at the top will be updated accordingly. Revised terms apply to subsequent visits from the date of publication. If you have questions about download, installation, or configuration steps, first consult the Getting Started; for details on routing, DNS, and subscription management, continue with the Advanced Setup.
